The walk down the aisle felt like it took only a couple seconds. It surely took more, but dream-time must have worked differently.
This had to be a dream. It had to.
As my mom handed me to Rocky and he grabbed my hand, I knew it couldn’t be a dream. It was better than a dream.
It was real. This was all real. I looked up into Rocky Hudson’s eyes as we stood in front Hazel, who had gotten her officiant license for today’s special occasion.
Rocky mouthed an “I love you” that almost made me break out crying. I mouthed it back, both my hands in his. He held on to my heart, too. From the moment he knocked on my apartment door all those years ago, this story had been set into motion. It had been a roller-coaster ride getting to this moment, but one I would happily ride over and over again.
So long as it always ended in this moment.
With my husband, Rocky Hudson, slipping a ring onto my finger, our future solidified in unbreakable amber.
ROCKY HUDSON
Married. I was married to the love of my life. My husband.
I kissed him, my husband, over and over, a smile on both our faces, our bodies fitting as perfectly as the rings fit on our fingers.
The sun had already set, but the party was only just now starting to kick into high gear. The open bar had people walking in zigzags and shaking their asses on the dance floor without a care in the world. I walked through the dance floor, getting grabbed and pulled into a twerking contest with Holly and Andrew, who both busted it down way better than I could have ever done. My knees cracked in protest the second I tried to get as low as they were, making their booties clap to the beat. I laughed and admitted defeat, leaving the two behind so they could cause an earthquake all on their own. Declan, Andrew’s partner, took my place in the twerk circle. He also surprised me with how well he moved his ass, but then I remembered he lived with Andrew and thought they must have had plenty of practice sessions together. It wasn’t long before Shiro was dragging his boyfriend, Nick, onto the dance floor, a bunch of Sam’s family following them after Shy had captured all their hearts with a story of the holiday cruise that led him to his prince.
Literally. Nicholas Silva was the prince of Spain. Shy had moved to Spain a few years back and opened up his own agency, so him flying with Nick across the world to our wedding really meant a lot.
By a long table sitting under the shade of a tall palm tree and holding all kinds of different sweets was Zane and Enzo, their three-old daughter, Lily, reaching for the castle of colorful macarons with determination in her large green eyes.
“Congratulations, Rocky!” Enzo said, clapping me on my shoulder. Zane helped Lily grab a macaron before grabbing one for him and Enzo.
“Congrats, Rocky.” Zane put a hand on my shoulder, his smile causing a dimple to appear. Zane Holden had given me a chance by bringing me into Stonewall, and even though we lived states away and didn’t get a chance to work together, I still considered him a close friend.
A close friend. Who would have thought I’d have close friends?
“Thank you both for flying out. It really means a lot.”
Lily waved her half-bitten macaron in the air. I kneeled down so I could be at her level.
“And thank you, Lily, for being such a magical little princess!”
She smiled and giggled before she waddled behind Enzo’s leg, holding on to him with one tiny arm while holding the macaron in the other.
“Of course, Rocky, we wouldn’t have missed this,” Zane said.
I nodded, overcome with a sudden swell of emotion. As I looked around, seeing all the people who had shown up to celebrate our love, I realized that the Rocky who had craved solitude and loneliness was no longer. Today, I was different. Changed. Instead of barriers, I built friendships. Long-lasting and solid friendships that changed how I saw the world. It made the sun shine a little brighter and the birds sing a little louder.
Life was better when it wasn’t spent pushing people away.
Sam came over then, holding his stomach as he laughed, Maverick Gold right behind him, no doubt having told one of his many stories. He was a stand-up comedian with a degree from Harvard and a job at Goldman Sachs. The guy was the definition of interesting, and his charisma carried through, spreading to everyone he was around.
Hell, the entire Gold family was pretty much the same. They were old friends of Sam; Maverick’s moms, Mia and Ashley, had grown up with Sam’s mom. His mom was the one who pushed them together, seeing how complete they were with each other but both having been too scared to pursue anything. Fast-forward fifteen years and they had a huge and vibrant family. They’d adopted all their children, four of them having come from broken homes that shattered even more when they had come out.
Behind Maverick and Sam were the identical twins, Dusty and Benji Gold, although they both carried themselves very differently even though they had the same exact faces, smiles, even haircuts. Benji was the sportier one of the twins, with more muscle and the physique of a soccer player. Dusty was thinner and wore thick-rimmed tortoiseshell glasses that made his amber-brown eyes pop under the lens.
“There’s my husband,” Sam said, coming over to me with a kiss on the lips, his smile transferring to me. “God, I love saying that. Husband.”
I held on to Sam as I introduced Zane and Enzo to the Gold family. Ashley and Mia came over with Kaitlyn, their youngest. She was a teenager with a bright blue streak of hair through the jet-black strands, and she looked at her moms’ glasses of wine like she was plotting on grabbing them and running.
“It smells like marriage over here,” Ashley said, hugging me and then Sam.
“Oh that’s what the smell was” Maverick said. “I thought that was me.” He lifted his arms and sniffed. The entire crowd laughed, Ashley playfully slapping her son’s chest.
“Mom, what does marriage even smell like?” Kaitlyn asked.
“Definitely not like Mav’s smelly armpits,” Dusty said.
Benji scoffed, smiling. “God, why is my family so weird.”
“We’re not weird,” Mia said, kissing her wife on the cheek. “We’re unique.”
“That’s a good way to spin it.” Kaitlyn arched a brow, but the love that emanated from her as she looked around her family was as clear as the sunshine beaming down on us.
We chatted with the entire group for a while, the group devolving into tears as Maverick told the story of the time he and Benji got locked inside of Toys “R” Us on Halloween, both of them dressed like two old ladies, tits sagging to their ankles and all.
“Oh man, I wish I could show you all the surveillance footage,” Maverick said when the laughter died down.
Ashley and Mia, both holding empty glasses, excused themselves to grab a refill. Benji and Dusty stayed speaking with Zane and Enzo, while Maverick spotted a cute guy he clearly wanted to take home with the way he practically bolted toward him, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake.
It gave me the perfect opening to have Sam all to myself. I kissed him again, standing under the palm tree, finding pure love in his eyes. I adored this man. The way he looked at me always made me feel like I was the only person in his world, the only one who held his heart the way I did.
More kissing. The heat started to notch up, and it wasn’t because the evening was growing warmer. I broke from the kiss before I could get hard enough to pitch a tent.
“You’re so special,” Sam said to me, holding both my hands in his. He kissed me again, his tongue parting my lips. This time I didn’t stop quick enough, my cock growing rigid between us. I angled myself away from any prying eyes.
Behind Sam, near the line of trees that bordered the back of his property, was the small guesthouse, its door open and inviting us in.
“Come here,” I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the guesthouse. This couldn’t wait. Sure, we were set to leave on our Fiji honeymoon by tonight, but I just couldn’t wait another second. I had to have him.
Had to
have my husband.
In one easy swoop, I picked Sam up in my arms. He giggled, his head fitting into the crook of my neck and my shoulder, his breaths tickling me as he laughed.
I carried him over the threshold and shut the door. The guesthouse smelled like oranges, the entire place having just been cleaned. I carried him through the living room as he started to kiss me, lighting the inferno that was already roaring to life inside my chest, spreading through my body, my briefs feeling tighter and tighter.
I went to the bedroom and placed him down on the king-sized bed, the mattress giving him a little bounce. The window blinds were drawn open, looking out into the woods behind the property. The party was going on on the other side of the house, so I had no worries that any of our guests could spot us.
Besides, I couldn’t even wait a second longer to shut the blinds. I fell on top of Sam and started to undress him, my mouth claiming him. I could feel his excitement through his slacks, pressing up against me, just as hard as I was.
I kissed him until we were both out of breath. I unbuttoned his shirt, admiring his flushed chest, running my hands softly up and down, pinching one of his nipples before moving to the next.
He groaned, pushing his hips upward, reminding me just how hard he was. It looked like his slacks were about to split in half.
“Fuck, I’m so fucking in love with you. With this.” A growl escaped me as I reached down and rubbed him, feeling him throb through the slacks. He pushed up again, his eyes shutting as I unzipped his pants.
“God, you’re leaking right through your briefs.”
“Clean me up,” Sam said, a cocky tone in his voice as he spread his legs wider. His white briefs were practically see-through with how wet he’d gotten, his cock leaking even as I mouthed him through the briefs, kissing and licking, tasting him through the fabric.
He’d gotten so confident over the years. It’s what helped him become so successful at his job, but it also turned me on to no end. I’d been walking around with constant erections, just thinking about Sam. How he’d wait for me at home, naked with his ass in the air, inviting me in. Or the hours we’d spend in my Velvet Room, using all kinds of toys, exploring each other until the sun came up and then until it went back down.
From the first time he’d surrendered to me, I found myself surrendering to him. Not in a sexual sense, but more so an emotional one. We both found a way to give each other the world, and today, I wanted to do exactly that.
I pulled off his briefs as he kicked off his shoes. I didn’t bother taking off his long black socks. His cock throbbed for attention, and I gave it to him, holding him in my hand as I brought him to my lips, rubbing him on me, painting my lips with his precome. He moaned as I licked his wet slit, taking in everything he was giving me. He tasted like heaven.
He lifted his legs, putting them on my shoulders. I sucked him off, stuffing him down my throat, saliva dripping down his tightening balls. I then grabbed his legs and lifted him higher, exposing his hole to me. I spit down on him, making him nice and wet.
“Fuck me, Rocky. Put it inside me.”
I didn’t bother with my clothes. I unzipped my slacks and pulled my cock free. Sam took in a breath as I lined myself up with him, spitting some more, spreading it along my shaft, pushing it inside him with a finger. I loved how his body took me in, almost pulling me, like he wanted more, so much more.
I grabbed his hips and pushed forward, feeling his velvet heat envelop the head of my cock. He was so tight. I could have stayed right there and would have still reached an orgasm, but with the way Sam was beginning to writhe on the bed, I knew that my job wasn’t anywhere near done.
My cock disappeared inside him as I thrust, his entire body wrapping around me. He moaned so loud, I was sure it could be heard over the music outside.
I pulled back and slowly sank back in. Nirvana. His heat was intense, his hole tight. I kept my rhythm slow at first, but Sam never really liked slow. He urged me on. “Give it to me. Please. Please. Oh fuck.”
I rocked into him, slamming my cock into his ass. His dick bounced up and down as I fucked him. He started to stroke himself, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as I plowed into him. Sweat started to make the skin under my shirt damp, the shirt starting to stick to me.
I kept fucking him.
“Oh God, baby, I’m gonna come. Keep going. I feel you inside me. Oh, oh!”
Sam stopped his stroking and held on to the base of his cock as he exploded, come splattering the wall behind him, spraying onto his chest, pooling on his stomach, creamy white come slipping down his shaft.
Sam brought me right to the edge and I fell, flying.
My body went rigid as I blew my load, filling Sam with my seed. Shot after shot, I unloaded inside him, my hands digging into his hips as my balls emptied themselves.
The orgasm felt never-ending. My body flooded with euphoria, my brain firing off every single network that dealt with pleasure. I couldn’t even think properly, all my thoughts turning into pure mush.
Sam looked up at me, his eyes also clouded with bliss. His smile told me everything I needed to know. I bent down, still inside him, and I kissed him, tenderly, letting him slowly melt into me, the same way I had melted into him.
“I love you so much,” Sam said against my lips. “So, so much.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever been happier,” I replied. Sam surprised me, a tear slipping from the corner of his eye, falling down his face. I wiped it away.
“You’re my everything,” I said to him, kissing him again, still held inside him. “You make this world brighter than bright.”
“And you make my world brighter than bright.” No more tears slid from his face, but I could still see the tidal wave of emotions that carried us both out to sea.
I kissed him again. And again.
And again.
Until the sun had fallen, when we were sure people were beginning to wonder where we had run off to.
And, even with the sun gone from the sky, my world was still bright, lit up by my husband’s illustrious and ever-present smile.
